Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective and Last Updated: August 5, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to purchases made through ClubsNearby, operated by LearnNearby LLC, including paid club gatherings, club dues and memberships, consumer subscriptions, ClubsNearby Pro, and class bookings available through the shared platform. It is part of our Terms of Service.

The checkout page identifies the seller, price, billing frequency, trial (if any), and any product-specific cancellation terms before you pay. A club or organizer may offer a more generous refund than this policy, but may not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

2. One-Time Club Gatherings and Tickets

The cancellation terms displayed for a paid gathering or ticket govern that purchase. If the club or organizer cancels and does not reasonably reschedule the gathering, the ticket price paid through ClubsNearby will be refunded to the original payment method. If a gathering is rescheduled, the notice will explain how to accept the new date or request any available refund.

Unless the checkout terms say otherwise, missing a gathering without canceling does not qualify for a refund. Separate costs such as travel, supplies, or lodging are not refundable by ClubsNearby.

3. Club Dues and Recurring Memberships

Club dues or memberships renew at the price and frequency shown at checkout until canceled. You may cancel online from the membership or billing controls made available with your purchase. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period; access continues through that date unless the checkout terms state otherwise.

Completed membership charges are generally non-refundable and are not prorated for unused time, a change of mind, or failure to use membership benefits. We will review requests involving duplicate charges, a billing error, unauthorized payment, a material failure to provide the described membership, or rights provided by law. Clubs may voluntarily offer more generous terms.

4. ClubsNearby Subscriptions and ClubsNearby Pro

Consumer subscription plans and ClubsNearby Pro renew automatically monthly or annually at the price shown at checkout until canceled. You can cancel online in Subscription settings (consumer plans) or Plan & billing (ClubsNearby Pro). Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the then-current paid period unless the checkout terms state otherwise.

Subscription charges are generally non-refundable and are not prorated for partial periods. We will consider refunds for duplicate or erroneous charges, unauthorized payment, a material service failure, or where required by law. A price or material renewal-term change applies only after the notice described in our Terms.

5. Free Trials and Promotions

If a subscription includes a free or discounted trial, checkout shows the trial length, the amount charged when it ends, and the renewal frequency. Unless you cancel before the trial deadline, the payment method on file will be charged and the plan will continue to renew until canceled. Canceling during a free trial prevents the first paid charge, subject to the timing shown at checkout.

6. Class Booking Cancellation Floor

For a class booking, an instructor may provide more generous terms, but the following minimum policy applies:

More than 48 hours before class
Full refund
24–48 hours before class
50% refund
Less than 24 hours before class
No refund; discretionary account credit may be offered

If an instructor cancels a class and it is not reasonably rescheduled, the class fee paid through the Platform will be refunded. A documented material misrepresentation, instructor no-show, undisclosed material location change, or safety issue may also qualify for a full or partial refund after review. Submit a quality issue within 48 hours after the class ends.

7. Events Outside Reasonable Control

Severe weather, emergencies, government orders, venue or utility outages, and other events outside reasonable control may require cancellation, delay, or rescheduling. If a paid gathering or class is canceled and not reasonably rescheduled, we will refund the amount paid through the Platform. If it is rescheduled, the notice will explain the available options.

8. Requesting and Receiving a Refund

Use the cancellation or billing controls associated with the booking, membership, or subscription whenever available. If self-service is unavailable or the request involves a billing error, contact our billing team with the account email, purchase, date, and reason. Do not email full card or bank-account numbers.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. We generally submit them to the payment processor promptly; the bank or card issuer controls when funds appear and commonly takes 5–10 business days. Credits, when offered and accepted, are separate from refunds to the original payment method.

9. Chargebacks and Legal Rights

Contact us first if you believe a charge is wrong so we can investigate. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable refund, cancellation, or consumer-protection rights. Fraudulent refund or chargeback requests may result in account restrictions.
